Historical Uses

Lemongrass is an aromatic tropical grass originally cultivated for culinary uses. Lemongrass is a staple in Asian cuisine and used to flavour poultry dishes, soups, seafood and fish.

 

Wellness Uses

Lemongrass was also used in Asian traditional medicine. From this it was discovered that Lemongrass is an antioxidant, with anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties. Lemongrass can support the Thyroid, assist with lowering cholesterol levels and assist with the discomfort experienced from stomach ulcers.
